American Boat & Yacht
American Boat & Yacht approached me about updating their logo and website. Neither had been touched in over a decade and the owner was hoping to bring their brand and website into the current era.
I worked directly with the owner of the business and we started with the logo update. The ship wheel that was pictured in his original logo was one that he actually owned and had mounted in his shop, so it was imperative to him to keep that element as part of the logo. So, I redrew it in Illustrator and added the banner bottom to add a little visual weight to the text.
The website was in dire need of updates as well. The owner wanted to feature pictures of past projects on his site, and to cover all of the types of services that they offered. We worked through several iterations of the pages and navigation to create the final version that can be seen at www.americanboatandyacht.com.
